The Lawsonville Baptist Church is an Old fashion Fundamental Independent Baptist Church located in the Foothills of Danbury, North Carolina. There are more than 15,000 Independent Baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 Independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide. Every Independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self-governing and self-supporting, and the head of the Church is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lawsonville Baptist Church is organized for the purpose of advancing and promoting the worship of God through the reading and teaching of God's Holy Word. Our main focus is to be Christ centered and to uplift Christ. It is here that we major on teaching and preaching the Word of God and the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Bible God's Holy Word is our sole authority for faith and practice. We preach and teach only from the King James Version of the Bible and it is our desire to be a truly New Testament Church.
At the Lawsonville Baptist Church, though we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us and that is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. The church is also the home of several other ministries. God has blessed us with a teen church, youth church and primary church that meets every Sunday morning with the exception of the 1st and 5th Sunday's. We have a Senior Saints group that gathers for various meetings and outings. Our ladies group hold a ladies prayer meeting every month and our Soul-winning visitation is on every Tuesday evening. In the year 2008 Gateway Bible College became a part of the church's ministry. Whatever the activity or outing, it is always our goal to lift up Christ and His Word for He only can make a difference in the life of man.
